Our whole experience was very mediocre, recommend. The place was great, we greatly enjoyed it. The hotel location was marvellous really close to the Royal Mile in Old Town. Moreover, it's not far from Edinburgh for the festival, bus station, and bars. The bedroom was upgraded and panoramic. The staff was consistently courteous and absolutely kind as we expected.
Though everything was good, some of the staff were not always friendly.

And 15 mins walk to a combined museum. Upgraded and panoramic unit with a single bed, immensely pleasant staff. A Nespresso machine, an iron, and a kettle available. The service was terrific here. The speedy check-in process too.
